Jassi’s fans are angry

Jassi, the Mona Singh of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, seems to have fallen out of favour with her fans. All those who were delighted with the fact that a postage stamp was dedicated to Jassi are now so disgusted that she has fallen in the way and has become no better than any of the myriad heroines of the other serials.

The reason for this disappointment — pre-marital sex. “By having pre-marital sex track, how is she any different from the Kkusums, Kripas and other K-serial heroines? Now who will dare to say they want their daughter to be like Jassi — a pre-wed mother?”So asked an irate viewer.

Obviously, these fans haven’t heard of contraception and family planning or women’s liberation.
