Whose Jassi will it be anyway?

NEW DELHI: The makeover of Jassi from ugly duckling to swan, slated to happen over the next few weeks, will have more than just TV viewers hooked — the corporate sector is equally bullish.
Sony Entertainment TV's (SET) popular serial, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin , has led to a whole lot of firms queuing up for in-serial placements, with Jassi set to trade her thick glasses, ill-fitting clothes, braces and fringe, for a glamourous look.
According to SET officials, popular brands ranging from cosmetics, haircare, eye-care and departmental stores, have pitched for in-serial placements to coincide with Jassi's transformation.
Said Tarun Katial, executive V-P, programming, SET: "We are in talks with various other brands, though we cannot name them at this stage. The show has some inherent opportunities for brand placement."
Jassi Jaisi... is among SET's top three TRP (television rating points) grossers, the other two being Indian Idol and Kkusum. And SET has cashed in on off-air marketing opportunities to the hilt.
In fact, media planners say Jassi Jaisi... has created a benchmark by integrating so many product placements within the story plot.
Prominent brands that have already done placements within script include Maruti Zen, Mercedes, LOreal, Asmi diamond jewellery, Samsung phones, Singapore Tourism, and even hit Bollywood film Hum Tum .
In-programme placement, though at a nascent stage in India, is a win-win situation for broadcasters and corporates. If the brands are integrated well with the script, they become synergistic with the show and enjoy good recall among viewers.

Jassi deserves Purab.
Hi, I just wanted to say Jassi n Purab deserves to b together at last... Purab never did no harm compared to Armaan.. This show better not make Armaan end up with Jassi. Purab loved the way she was from the first day... He always think of her first even though he left her (which he must have a good reason) basically,Jassi deserves Purab.. if she gives armaan another c hance like she had been doing, than this showz just out of control of not seeing the right/ wrong views on people.. She needs to give a chance to purab n have him explain the reason.. She hardly lets him speak this is what i hate in indian films/serials... GET IN THE REAL WORLD.... PURAB N JASSI AT LAST PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE! I LOVE PURAB FROM THE FIRST DAY! (THAS NOT THE REASON THOUGH)

I am a die hard fan of your's and simply want to say that your confidence and ur striving with life has always and has boosted up my level of confidence.Jassi though Arman has misbehaved with you a lot many a times but now truly he is a changed person and he loves you from the very bottom of his heart.so please come back to him.
Hi, I do not believe that Jassi should go back to ARMAAN. Just because he loves her now and has tremendous feelings for her, does not mean that she should go back to him.. Hell NO! dont u understand? How is someone supposed to go back to sum1 that hurt them so many times? Armaan humiliated her so many times and is nothing but a user.... Just because he needs her, yeah jassi should go back-- NO! u tell me third comment writer, if u loved sum1 but all they did was mess with u and were a back stabber, do u think u want to go back? Especially when they laugh at u b/c of the way u r... I mean u will b the same then 2... just b/c sum1 changed the looks doesnt mean that.. By teh way armaan needs to learn by his mistakes... let him suffer.. he deserves it.. SORRY apurva ( IM JUST TALKING ABOUT THE CHARACTER) lets just think “real” purab knows the feelings that jassi has 4 armaan n he never forces her to love em n stuff.. u cant make a person love u. Purab probably left jassi bc of Armaan. Purab deserves Jassi from the very beginning b/c hes a nice person, loves jassi (which jassi never understands).. he just has so many things in him… wonderful characteristics

arman doesnt go back to mallika even if she likes her and he has no feelings for any one. he is just an asshole. if he could betray jassi once he could betray her again. and purab liked jassi from the beginning. so any one who wants jassi to go back to arman EAT DUNG,cause u are ASSHOLES TOOOOOO
This is rediculous to see that Purab is gonna leave jassi n have jassi with armaan. I dont even understand y purab even came back.. just to show jassi the right rasta... dumb plain old dumb.. hes a very understanding person and is always therre to help her solve problems but wat the hell.. wat does he get in return NUTTIN! itz plain old dumb n goddd wat the hell he gonna act like salman khan in sajaann n other people who give thier love to sum1 else... i dont no who would do all this.. Purab u were great! but i do not like the fact how u were used in jassi jkn.. well love u purab...
